About the Author
Marguerite Vardman has been a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine, ObGyn, and Oncology for almost three decades. She graduated summa cum laude with a BSN in Nursing from Northeastern University, Boston MA and an MSN in Nursing from University of Massachusetts/Lowell, Lowell MA. She has been board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 1981. Formerly an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Kennesaw State University, Marietta GA, where she helped develop curriculum for the BSN program; she also taught in the BSN program at Northeastern University. Over the years, her continuing education studies have included Internal Medicine with Dr. Hugh Fulmer of UMass Medical School, Gyn Oncology with Dr. Charles Welander of Emory Medical School, and Reproductive Endocrinology with Dr. Guy Abraham of UCLA Medical School. In 1996, she obtained a Bachelors of Divinity in counseling from Universal Brotherhood University, Duluth GA.
After recovering from her own problems with HES in July 1986, Marguerite has dedicated her life to helping women empower themselves toward total wellness of body, mind, and spirit. Over the years, she has counseled thousands of women and watched every one of them improve their lives through education, nutrition, vitamin supplements, and modern approaches to women's health care. Seeing her daughter develop HES at age 13 caused Marguerite to realize that teenage women can develop hormonal problems that may go unrecognized for years! Working with hundreds of healthcare professionals throughout her career, she became acutely aware that even medically trained women do not have sufficient knowledge to correct their hormone imbalances! This created in her a passion to bring accurate, up-to-date information to as many women as possible. Now with the publication of her book, My Doctor Never Asked Me Those Questions, she intends to offer hope to millions of women everywhere.
